About Day Habilitation
At Life Gate, our day habilitation program is designed to enhance the independence of each and every individual. The individuals entrusted to our program will be properly exposed to an array of community integrative activities, and independent living skills. Day Habilitation takes a Person Centered approach to enhance the lives of those who are being served. Activities provided at Life Gate are strategically planned to ensure that individuals get the necessary skills they want and need.
Day Habilitation Services Include but are not limited to:
- Learning to follow directions
- Learning good habits of interaction and socialization with peers, staff and other members of the community
- Acquiring enhanced gross and fine-motor coordination, and sharpening basic communication skills.
